That drowns the tender reed.

사랑이란 여린 갈대를
빠지게 하는 강물이라고도 하죠

 

Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed.

사랑은 영혼에 상처를 내어
피흘리게 하는 면도날과 같다는 말도있죠

 

Some say love, it is a hunger
An endless, aching need.

사랑은 굶주림으로 가득찬
끝없는 열망이라고도 하죠.

 

I say love it is a flower
And you it's only seed.

나는 말합니다. 사랑은 꽃이라고,

그리고 당신은 그 꽃의 단 하나의 씨앗이라고. 

 

It's the heart afraid of breakingthan ever learns to dance

상처 받기를 두려워 하는 심장은 춤추는 법을 배우지 못하고 

 

It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes a chance

깨어나기를 두려워하는 꿈은 결코 기회를 잡지 못하며

다른 사람으로부터 환영받지 못하는 자는 받을 줄만 알고 줄 줄 모르는 사람이며
